Radiology Technician

Description
Under the general administrative direction of the Clinic Manager and the clinical direction of the Clinic's Lead Medical Provider, the Radiology Technician performs all general diagnostic radiology procedures per their scope of practice and skills list. Radiologist procedures are completed according to established ARRT guidelines as well as according to clinic protocols.

Duties

  • Perform general medical x-ray imaging for urgent care, primary care, and walk-in patients following clinician orders.
  • Ensure radiation safety practices are followed for patients, staff, and technologists.
  • Provide a compassionate, professional, and safe environment for patients during their care.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images efficiently and accurately.
  • Operate x-ray and lab equipment, maintaining proficiency in ALARA radiation safety practices and lab test handling.
  • Participate in professional development, maintain required certifications, and resolve equipment issues as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED.
  • ARRT Board all required upon hire.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $31.68/hr+ DOE
