Medical Billing Supervisor

Description

The Medical Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing business office staff to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of medical claims. This role ensures compliance with established billing procedures, promotes workflow efficiency, and supports the delivery of high-quality revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the billing staff, serving as a resource to assist and coach them to perform their work.
  • Monitors productivity of billing office staff.
  • Serves as a resource to staff, patients, and third-party payer on billing issues.
  • Administer day-to-day workflow in order to meet stated goals.
  • Provide training for all new hires and existing department employees.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and objectives of the Company.
  • Provide supervision of the completion of provider enrollment task with insurance plans and maintaining insurance rosters.
  • May be asked to assist with completing Medicare revalidation enrollments on the Medicare portal.
  • Meet regularly with direct reports.
  • Complete special tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Attend departmental and company meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job, such as accounting, marketing, business administration, etc.-Required
  • 2 Years related experience and/or training-Required and
  • 2 Years related management experience-Required

Compensation

  • Competitive salary starting at $24.18/hrly + DOE
