Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic leadership and drive operational excellence across our organization. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership, the COO plays a pivotal role in executing our strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our mission, and guiding sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic goals.
  • Lead department heads to improve performance, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Guide Human Resources and Facilities with an operational perspective to support workforce and infrastructure planning.
  • Drive service line development, expansion efforts, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen external relationships and represent the organization’s mission and values in the community.
  • Contribute to financial planning and budgeting in collaboration with the CFO.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in a related field (required)
  • Experience:
    • Experience in a safety net, predominantly primary care system is strongly preferred
    • 7+ years of relevant operations experience (considered a solid foundation; equivalent leadership experience will also be considered)
    • 5+ years in a senior management role

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary starting at $165,000.
  • Comprehensive benefits package beginning day one, including:
    • 212 hours of PTO annually (prorated based on start date)
    • 80 hours of sick leave annually (prorated)
